The Sixth Night of Chanukah 2010 - Dedicate This Night to Victims of Terror and War in Israel
The staff and volunteers of Chabad Terror Victims Project (CTVP) are in the midst of preparing for a major project to be spread all across the length and breadth of Israel.
Mobilizing the resources of the 270 Chabad Houses throughout Israel, CTVP is planning to bring a special message of solidarity and unity with all the victims of terror and war and their families in Israel during the holiday of Chanukah.
Along with all the special visits and festive activities that CTVP always holds for victims of terror and war and their families, this year a special night of Chanukah will be specifically dedicated to these families whose lives have been so brutally shattered. It will be called Haor Yinatzeiach– The Light will be Victorious.
On the sixth night of Chanukah, all of the public Menorah lightings to be held in all the major cities throughout Israel will be specifically dedicated to the victims of terror and war and their families.
We are asking that each and every one of you around the world join with CTVP in this very special showing of solidaritywith these families by dedicating all public and private Chanukah candle lightings on Monday night, December 6, 2010, the sixth night of Chanukah, to the victims of terror and war.
Just as the Children of Israel won the Chanukah miracle against their enemies in years past, so too in these days,we stand firm and strong together against the enemies of Israel until the ultimate great victory, with the coming of Moshiach. Amen.
