Children from Chabad of Owings Mills in Maryland Remember Young Terror Victims at Chanukah Time
December 19 2007

Baltimore's Jewish community has spread the warmth of Chanukah to child victims of terror.
Chabad of Owings Mills, Maryland, hosted a Community-wide Mitzvah Project. It collected toys, clothes, candy and games and shipped it to Israel. Chabad's Teror Victims Project will distribute five boxes' worth of items to child victims of terror.
"In Israel, there are thousands of children who are victims of terror," said Chanie Katsenelenbogen, program director of Chabad of Owings Mills. "These children were also anticipating celebrating Chanukah, but they celebrated while suffering serious injuries, or without mothers and fathers to light the family Menorah, make them Chanukah treats and present exciting gifts."
CTVP gratefully acknowledges the beautiful gesture of the children of Chabad of Owings Mills.
