Several soldiers who sustained life-threatening injuries during the recent campaign in Gaza are still in the hospital, trying to recover.

A group from the Chabad Youth Organization, accompanied by a delegation of supporters from the United States, decided to cheer them up with gifts of laptop computers to give them some pleasure and to take their minds off their pain.

Among those who received the laptops was Aharon Karuv (Aharon Yehoshua ben Chaya Shoshana), who went into Gaza the day after his wedding and was mortally wounded. Today, he is undergoing advanced rehabilitation and is miraculously improving a little more each day. Another recipient is Ben ben Nativa, who is still in a serious condition.

In the Trauma Unit, wired to various types of medical apparatus, is Ran ben Varda, who sustained many internal injuries and has lost his left leg. His parents have not moved from his bedside since his arrival at the hospital. Ran is very delighted with this gift, and he is very grateful to donor Yudi Zeller and the other members of the delegation. He uses the computer between treatments, and it helps to divert him from his constant pain.

Another soldier is Ben ben Kati, who is now able to speak again after having suffered very serious injuries. He greeted the group with a huge smile, while his father described the amazing miracles that have gone on during his recovery process.

The group of visitors from CTVP visited the hospitalized soldiers in turn, giving each one individual attention and the feeling that he represents the Jewish nation as a whole. The entire Jewish people values and appreciates the soldiers and their efforts to protect the Jews and the land of Israel.
