The Chabad Terror Victims project has been closely involved with the families of those murdered since the recent attacks in Mumbai.
Tzerei Chabad and the CTVP hosted and arranged transportation for many Chabad emissaries to visit the various families for shiva. In addition CTVP had helped with the funeral arrangements for Yocheved Orpaz and provided a tent for the Orpaz family who had been sitting shiva in the city of Givatayim Funds have been distributed to some of the families for their immediate situation and CTVP will be there for any additional help they may need.
The CTVP is of course still directly involved with some 2300 victims of terror in Israel and is preparing for the upcoming holiday of Chanuka. Special Menorah Lighting Ceremonies will be held throughout Israel as well as gatherings for the families and victims who have suffered from terrorist attacks.
