Two soldiers were injured this morning as Palestinians fired mortar shells from Gaza . Helicopters airlifted the soldiers for medical treatment to Soroka hospital in Beer - Sheva. Chabad teams were immeditely dispatched and came to visit the wounded soldiers.

A Bar Mitzvha boy and his family made arrangements for close to 300 wheelchairs to be delivered to Israel for those in need – and, they are personally accompanying staff and volunteers from Chabad Terror Victims Project to make the deliveries all across the country.

With the wonderful coordination of Rabbi Chaim Nochum Cunin, a Chabad Shaliach in southern California, and the extraordinary generosity of a very special family in his community, a container of 300 wheelchairs has just arrived at Tzeirei Agudas Chabad’s headquarters in Israel. They are to be distributed throughout the country to those in need.

The first contingent of Shluchim from around the world set out today to visit all the families of those murdered in the Chabad House of Mumbai. Chabad’s Terror Victim Project arranged and accompanied the group on their round of emotional visits. These visits strengthened the families who expressed their appreciation of the Shluchim’s participation in their loss and mourning. |

Every week‚ tens of terror victim families and their children enjoy several hours of activities led by volunteers of Chabad’s Terror Victims Project (CTVP). The volunteers who have come from all over the world to spend a year studying in Israel‚ dedicate their own time to volunteer for this special project. The families express deep gratitude for the assistance they receive through this project. This year‚ the project was expanded from serving the Jerusalem to area to the Central Regions of Israel. |

For four days‚ two visitors from the United States made a whirlwind tour of Israel in order to distribute aid to victims of terror attacks and visit with their families. |
